Constituents will be required to do a self-assessment to determine if they are at risk of having COVID-19. If they are, they will not be seen at the office but can be assisted remotely. For contact tracing purposes, constituents will be required to provide their name and contact information so that they may be contacted in the event of an outbreak. Due to social distancing guidelines, the office will limit the number of constituents in the office at any time. Constituents will be required to enter the office wearing a mask and to sanitize their hands once they arrive. Please note that due to COVID-19, the office may close on short notice. Staff will do their best to notify any previously made constituents with appointments in a timely manner.

WHEREAS every child with autism deserves access to sufficient treatment and support so that they can live to their fullest potential;

WHEREAS the Ontario Autism Program was badly broken under the Liberals, and the changes introduced by the Conservatives have made it worse;

WHEREAS the new funding caps are based on age and income, and not the clinical needs of the child;

WHEREAS Ontario needs a true investment in evidence-based autism services that meets the needs of autistic children and their families;

WE THE UNDERSIGNED petition the Legislative Assembly of Ontario to direct the Ministry of Children, Community and Social Services to invest in equitable, needs-based autism services for all children who need them.
